Our Story

Sentiers Wakefield is a not-for-profit organization aimed at promoting trail creation, maintenance and associated activities in Wakefield and the Municipality of La Pêche.
​

Initially launched as Wakefield Ensemble, this non-profit organization became focused solely on trails in 2005 to address the Government of Quebec’s mandate of active transportation.

Specifically, Sentiers Wakefield maintains and supervises the Trans Canada Trail in the Municipality of La Pêche including 15 KMs in the Gatineau Park.
