About Us

Our Story

Sentiers Wakefield Trails is a not-for-profit organization that ensures safe and enjoyable trails year round through regular and proactive maintenance in Wakefield and surrounds.

​Initially launched as Wakefield Ensemble, this non-profit organization became focused solely on trails in 2005 to address the Government of Quebec’s mandate of active transportation.

Sentiers Wakefield Trails maintains and supervises the Trans Canada Trail in the Municipality of La Pêche, including 15 KMs in the Gatineau Park.
