Geocaching

​Geocaching is a modern outdoor treasure hunt using a smartphone or GPS to locate hidden containers called “geocaches”.
Sentiers Wakefield Trails has a series of 20+ hidden geocaches on the trails around the Wakefield Village.  You will need a phone or GPS, our Wakefield Geocaching Passport, a pencil, some water, good shoes and a friend.
The geocache locations are on the www.geocaching.com apps (phone).

Designed for families, nature lovers, and curious minds, the Story Walk combines the beauty of Sentiers Wakefield Trails with engaging storytelling. As you walk along the path, you’ll discover pages of a carefully selected story placed at intervals, encouraging visitors to read, explore, and connect with nature at the same time. It’s a perfect blend of outdoor adventure and literacy, making every step a journey through words and wonder!
