A new version was printed in 2018. The Municipality of La Pêche provided $100,000 for the building and maintenance of our trail network over the last 10 years, and paid for the printing of this brochure in 2018.
Volunteer With UsWe are always looking for volunteers! Sentiers Wakefield Trails (SWT) is made up entirely of volunteers – people who love our unique, magnificent Gatineau hills as much as you do. We meet regularly to clean and build trails.

We Are Pursuing AccessibilityIn October 2023, Sentiers Wakefield Trails had the opportunity to be part of an accessibility audit thanks to Trans Canada Trails’ Trail Accessibility Mapping Program. Trans Canada Trails put us in touch with AccessNow, a non-profit organization “building a movement that celebrates access by connecting people to inclusive, welcoming places for all.” AccessNow is also an app and an online map that people with different abilities can use to find out the extent to which trails, buildings or transportation are accessible.
