2023 Photo Contest Rules

The Brunet Pharmacy is once again sponsoring a photo contest to celebrate Wakefield's trails.

Rules

• Photos must be taken by you on trails in the Wakefield area
• Photos should be taken between January 1, 2022 and April 30, 2023  (please do not resubmit photos already entered in previous years)
• A limit of three photos per family per category. 
• You must have obtained the permission to take the images of any identifiable individuals in photos that you submit.  In the case of minors, permission must be obtained from their legal guardian.
• You agree that photos submitted can be used by the Sentiers Wakefield Trails for advertising purposes on social media and printing (including family pictures).
• Sentiers Wakefield Trails will determine entry eligibility in its sole discretion

• Friends & Families
• Landscape
• Wildlife (which includes dogs – on a leash of course)
• Plants and Fungi

 
​Prizes

• Entries will be judged by Sentiers Wakefield Trails. All decisions are final.  Sentiers Wakefield Trails reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is deemed inappropriate or does not conform to stated contest rules.

• For each category there will be 3 prizes of Brunet gift cards.
  • 1st  Prize - $75
  • 2nd Prize - $50
  • 3rd Prize  - $25
• All winners in each category will have their photo professionally mounted.
• Each winner will be contacted via the email address on the photo entry.  If no response is received after 5 business days, a new winner will be selected and the previous winner will forfeit all rights to the prize.
• All winning photos will be displayed on the Sentiers Wakefield Trails website.  1st prize winning photos in each category be displayed in the Wakefield Public Library for one month and then returned to winners (display will be mounted on June 4, National Trails Day, to be picked up by end of June).

 
How to Enter
SUBMIT YOUR PHOTOS BY Sunday April 30, 2023  using our contest entry form. Winners will be publicly announced on the Sentiers Wakefield Trails Website on National Trails Day – Saturday, June 3, 2023.
 
The legal stuff….
By participating in the contest, the you (the photographer) acknowledge that you are the author and that you have all the rights to the photograph and have obtained the permissions necessary to photograph the images.  You retain all rights to your photographs however, you grant Sentiers Wakefield a non-exclusive, royalty free, perpetual licence to use the photos for advertising, promotional or any other purpose, at its discretion.
