Safety & Tips
Safety & Tips
Can I bring my dog on the trails?
Yes, you can bring your dog, on a leash, at all times. Please bring poop bags with you and dispose of the bags in the receptacles provided at all trail entrances.
Are the trails suitable for all skill levels?
Yes, there are trails at all skill levels. Trails are colour coded: YELLOW is the easiest, BLUE is moderate, RED is more difficult, and BLACK is the hardest. The skills level is based on incline (how steep it is), whether the trial is smooth or has obstacles such as tree roots, rocks or fallen logs to manoeuvre. Note that none of our trails are fully wheelchair accessible yet.
How can I volunteer to help maintain the trails?
We always welcome new volunteers, especially local folks who are regular trail users. Send us an email at [email protected] or fill in our volunteer sign-up form.
Where can I find updated trail conditions?
Trail conditions can change FAST. You can check our Facebook page in case we or others have posted, however, we encourage you to judge for yourself. It is recommended to ALWAYS have crampons with you for icy or wet days, especially in the winter. In spring, some trails may be muddy or wet, although we try to monitor and fix parts of the trail where this occurs regularly.
